McParlane & Associates, Inc. (MPA) is a dynamic multi-disciplinary engineering firm driven by a passion for creating opportunities for our people to be successful. Our office is headquartered in San Diego, California with a second office in Lake Forest, California. This position can be filled in either office. We engineer projects all throughout Southern California, Northern California, and the surrounding states. In our 33+ year in business, we have designed projects for laboratories, educational facilities, healthcare, military, corporate office, civic, recreational, retail, multifamily, hospitality, and much more.

Salary Range: $24 - 40/hour

Responsibilities

• Drafting in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction industry
• Comprehend MEP mark-ups with limited instruction
• Take direction from lead engineers and work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MEP Revit design
• Strong REVIT knowledge creating families, incorporating smart features for schedules, troubleshooting, etc.
• Revit and Bluebeam knowledge (preferably expertise)
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Advanced understanding of Autodesk AEC collection products including, but not limited to, Revit and AutoCAD
• Detail-oriented and problem solver
• Strong organizational and excellent communications skills
• Self-motivated to consistently improve efficiency
• Strong drive for professional and personal growth
