Employee Training Options

Autodesk AutoCAD: Employees will learn efficient AutoCAD workflows by designing a residential project. Additionally, they will prepare a complete and detailed set of construction documents, including a title, site plan, floor plans, sections, and elevations.

Autodesk Revit: Employees will prepare a 3D model of a moderately complex commercial project using industry-standard workflows. Additionally, they will learn to extract construction documents directly from the BIM model.

Adobe Photoshop: Employees will learn the best practices for successfully working with Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, they will be able to adjust, correct, and supplement photos and graphics and compose, adjust, and export images with variations in image file type, dimension, and color.

SketchUp: Employees will learn how to utilize the SketchUp interface and tools to create elements such as individual 2D and 3D models, components, and topography to complete projects. Additionally, they will be able to use SketchUp to share schematic designs.

Blueprint Reading: Employees will be able to understand project information conveyed in residential and commercial blueprints. Additionally, they will learn about scale, construction document organization, and multi-disciplinary design information.

Construction Estimating: Employees will build a construction cost estimate and understand how to accurately create quantity takeoffs and cost categories. Additionally, they will perform risk analyses using construction documents and estimating tools.
