Now let's complete our second floor furniture plan. We'll zoom in first to this lower bedroom, room seven, and we'll create our crosshairs. We'll do our line.
We want to make sure ortho is turned on down at the bottom, and we'll go from the left side of the room to the right side. And we'll do another line, and we'll go from the closet wall to the lower wall. Now we will select our vertical line and use M for move, and we'll click right here and move it to the center of the horizontal line.
And we'll grab the horizontal line, get the idea, grab the intersection point, and take it straight down to the midpoint in the room. There we go. Now we'll do the crosshairs for the main bedroom.
We'll do line, right side to left side, line again, and top to bottom. There we go, and then move them into place. M for move, intersection to midpoint, and M for move again, intersection point to midpoint.
There we go, so we've got our crosshairs. Now we need to bring in the furniture. We'll start with this main bedroom.

We've got a king-size bed, we've got two nightstands, and a side chair. Let's go back to our blocks. We'll select the king-size bed, the side chair, round, and the nightstand.
We'll do CTRL C on our keyboard to copy, go back to our project, we'll zoom out a little, and do CTRL V to paste. We'll have to zoom and move until all three furniture pieces are visible, and then click only when we can see all of them. Then we'll use the move command to just move them up into the room.
Even if ortho is turned on, we can move these point to point. Okay, now they're all in the room. We're going to select all three furniture pieces yet again, and we'll change the layer from layer zero down to our eye fern loose.
Now the bed, we will select it and R-O to rotate. We'll click somewhere, and then move our cursor around. With ortho turned on, we can get that 180.
And then click our chair here. We'll click it, and we'll do rotate. Click really anywhere, but I like to click on the center of the chair somewhere, and type in 45.
And that puts it on a 45. Now I can rotate it again, click, and do 90, spacing just the opposite way. And I'll rotate one more time, and I'll type in this time 180.
And that's the correct orientation. We'll move that a little closer, somewhere up there for now. Okay, let's move our bed into place.
M for move. We'll go to the back of the bed and find the midpoint, and go to the midpoint lower end of this crosshair line, click, and there it is. I'll move it one last time to move it up three inches.
There it is. Now this room label is kind of in overlapping the bed, and it's off-center a bit, so we'll move that as well. I'll grab its midpoint right there, click the top midpoint of the bed, and then we'll move it a little bit more.
Let's say six inches up. Okay, that looks good. Now we've got our chair, and we'll select it, and we'll move it.
M for move. We can get the midpoint of the back of the chair. I'll click that, and click right in the corner one time.
There it is. So it's perfectly in the corner. Now we'll move it out two directions.
First to the left, and we'll go, let's say, eight inches. I'll move it down, and we'll go eight inches as well. Okay, now it's perfectly in the corner.
Now we've got our night stand. We'll select it and type in arrow to rotate, click, and type in 180. Click again and move it.
This time I'm going to grab the bottom right corner and attach it to the bottom left corner of the bed. Click, click, and then we'll do M for move and pull it away from the bed. Let's go six inches there as well.
Now that we have one, we can select it and do mirror, enter, and we'll grab our crosshair line two times, and enter, and we've got all of our furniture for the main bedroom. Now let's jump down to bedroom, and it's room number seven. We're going to grab some other furniture.
We've got over here our two twin beds and this dresser. Let's go over to our blocks. I'm going to grab a twin bed, and let's see, we've got our dresser double right here.
They're kind of far apart. We'll see if this works. We'll grab both at the same time.
CTRL C to copy, go back to our project, and CTRL V to paste. And we'll zoom out, see if we can see both. We can, just barely.
So right down here I'll click. I've got the bed and the dresser. Let's first move those into place.
M for move, click somewhere on the bed, and click a point inside the room. Grab the dresser, M for move, click a point there, and click a point inside the room, and then zoom back in. Select both of these again, and we'll change the layer to the eye for and loose, eye for and loose, and then we'll move them into place.
Start with the dresser. We will rotate it. We know we want 180 degrees, and enter.
Click it again, M for move. Click the back one time, and go to this bottom of this center line, and then you guessed it, we've moved it up three inches away from the window. Now the bed, very similar process.
