In this beginner-friendly Intro to Revit course, you'll dive into how Revit (BIM) links all your project information using the Revit Architecture tools. You'll learn how to design 3D models that automatically generate 2D architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D perspective views. Starting with a pre-made template, you’ll build a Building Information Model, create floor plans and elevations, generate 3D views, place them on sheets, and print them to PDF.
Unit 3 30 Hours
This course gives interior designers a solid foundation in color theory, combining the science and art of color. Students will learn how perception, systems, harmonies, and psychology shape design choices across physical and digital environments.
Unit 4 30 Hours
This course introduces the core materials used in interior design, including masonry, wood, glass, metals, synthetics, and acoustic treatments, with an emphasis on how designers evaluate and specify finishes in real projects. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to real-time rendering with Revit and Twinmotion, focusing on creating high-quality interior visualizations. You will gain hands-on experience with essential tools and techniques to bring their designs to life with stunning detail and interactivity.
Unit 8 30 Hours
Create a Community Park, including topography. Make 3D models of a picnic table, carousel & other site furnishings. Learn to navigate SketchUp and different workflows to create the 3D model of the Park.
Unit 9 30 Hours
Learn to use the Sandbox tools to create 3D Topography, and to use Project Geo-Location. Model a Clubhouse for the Community Park. Explore new workflows. Include the 3D Warehouse assets & the SketchUp camera tools.
Unit 10 30 Hours
Learn how to retouch and color correct photos, combine images, and create graphics in Photoshop. This course covers the basic and intermediate features of Photoshop such as color/contrast, photo retouching, layers, masks, filters, and saving files for web/video/print.
