I really appreciated having Derek as an instructor for this course. I reached out several times throughout, especially while navigating challenges related to differences between PC and Mac versions, as well as variations between SketchUp versions. I liked this course because it was online and I was able to do it at my own pace on my own time anytime of day! This course gave me confidence in doing SketchUp drawings for clients and when reading blueprints.
Was a bit challenging but I loved the course! The best teacher! I think I learned everything to start using Sketchup, now just need to practice. Great instructor who answers questions 24/7! He makes sure you are not stuck!

I loved it! Super interactive, diversified course that implies some basic knowledge. Instructor has great voice, giving info slowly and understandable. If you are detail oriented and will listen carefully, all questions are covered in the videos. For some info I was rushing and thus did make a couple mistakes. I suggest taking your time and if schedule allows go through every class twice. Instructor is there to help and answers right away. Loved the course!

Great balance of repetition of key work flows and buttons mixed with introducing new ways to complete a task. Perfect pace to follow along. I especially liked creating relevant drawings as a way to go over all the different buttons and commands vs just talking about it.
Every piece of the curriculum was relevant, helpful, insightful, and up-to-date.
This was a fun and awesome course, detailed videos were amazing and I appreciate the explanations it included for tools and commands. My instructor answered questions politely yet very clearly - always responding within a day.
