I really appreciate the opportunity to learn useful and practical software such as Civil 3D through this course. The course was well organized, and the teaching method was clear, step-by-step, and easy to follow. The lessons helped me better understand important Civil 3D concepts and how they can be applied to real civil engineering projects.

I have taken other AutoCAD courses in the past, and this course was above and beyond in knowledge, clarity, information, etc. So useful and aimed directly in the profession I am using it for.

I found this to be an overall helpful and highly informational course. The video guides were super clear, and it almost shocked me at times how quickly I was able to grasp new concepts.

The course is set up well and the files are organized and referenced in the video extremely well. Overall though, a very good course and I would recommend it to someone new or reintroducing themselves to AutoCAD software.

I found this course to be very challenging yet rewarding. This was my first time using AutoCAD, so every component was new, and the course configuration allowed me to work at my own pace and rewind as many times as needed to better understand the content.

I thought it was great with a quick response from the instructor when needed.

To me, this course was significantly harder and more complex than the first one. It took me some more time and effort to complete, which is okay, but I most certainly noticed the complexity increase. I have spent the last 5 years surveying in the field on physicals, as-built surveys, topos, block points, house stakes, and finding and locating property, so this was a change of pace. The instructor was professional and extremely knowledgeable about the subject. He was easy to follow and explained points and workflows well!

This class helped me understand scaling much more than I did before. This info would have been helpful in some of my earlier classes as I struggled with understanding what scaling was and how and why we were scaling to different sizes.

Thank you for your warnings every 4 days due to inactivity. It's hard to attend every day, I get off work, but the warnings helped me to not to lose track of time and push me into finishing the course in the allowed time.

As someone who is majoring in finance and real estate in college and not studying this material, I truly believe this course was amazing for my knowledge, especially because I want to pursue high-end residential real estate, but start working on my own interior design company first, and work for a studio right out of college to gain experience. Having this on my resume and actually understanding this, especially voluntarily, is extremely beneficial, and I am so happy that I am doing it.

The course is very detail-oriented!

The instructor was responsive and understanding. For me, I appreciated that he did it step by step...even the click and enter part. That helped me because I'm a visual learner and I needed that for my brain to comprehend.

I just completed CAD201, and so far I’ve been incredibly impressed with the AutoCAD classes. The course material is divided into easy-to-manage videos that are well-paced and very informative. The instructor is easy to listen to and makes everything clear. I feel I’m getting very thorough instruction—better, even, than if I were to be taking an in-person class locally. When I’ve completed the AutoCAD certification series, I definitely plan to take other courses from VDCI.

Fantastic Instructor, one of the best I have ever had. He is extremely articulate in his words, swift to deliver help when needed, and intentionally shows common workplace mistakes and how to fix them.
