Okay, let's jump in. We're going to start with our roof plan. So let's go to the CAD301 plan model.
First thing I want to do is make sure that I'm on the right layer state. So I'm going to go to the roof plan layer state. And then I'm going to place my keynotes using the keynote block and the multiliter.
Let's go to the A. Anno Sims 96 layer. And we're going to only use multiliters on this drawing. So I'm going to go to the annotate tab.
Change this to BDCI Keynote 96. And we can start placing our multiliters. In this case, I'm going to start in the top left corner.
But you could do any orientation or organization you like. So I'm going to zoom in. Multiliter.

Picking this corner. This is three. Okay, while I'm here, I'm just going to grab this one.
So that I don't forget it. We'll just place it at this midpoint. One.
Okay. And I'm going to start by going around the perimeter of the building clockwise, and then I'll go to the interior. Once again, we have one here.
Shift right click nearest. One. Okay.
This one's on the downspout. Three, which is the downspout with the splash block. These two are going to be six, which is the downspout without the splash block.
Instead of drawing that again, I'm going to select it. Home tab. Copy.
Copy it down to this endpoint. Escape, escape, escape. On the home tab itself, there is a leader option.
So as long as you've set the correct leader, you can continue to select multiliter from here. I'll do that. Come over to this splash block.
Up. And this is three. Enter.
And then I want to make one more leader from the same point. I'm going to call this five. Okay.
Let's go back to the annotate tab. I'm going to show one trick, which is here. Collect.
This organizes selected multiliters that contain blocks into rows or columns. This is exactly what you see on the handout. The three and the five are collected.
So I'm going to pick this, pick my three first, then my five. Enter. And they're going to collect horizontally.
Now they use the same leader and they are connected together. Perfect. Let's keep going.
Leader. Three. Okay.
We have our one. One. Okay.
And the last block on the perimeter is this three. I'm going to make this one extra long just to show what the other option is. Okay.
We just used collect, which is this option. But in this case, I want to use align. So I'm going to choose align.
Pick this bottom three first, then this top three. Enter. We're going to select this bottom three to align to.
And then it's going to draw a point from the insertion point of that multiliter. In this case, I want it straight up and down. Click.
Then I'm just going to move this up so it's closer to that 45 degree angle. Those are now aligned to the left, which is where the insertion point of the multiliter was. Now, as I look in the interior of my building, I only have one multiliter.
It's right here. This is a number two. Okay.
Assume extents. Control S to save. Let's jump back into CAT 301, A301.
In this case, it didn't prompt my XRef to update. So I'm going to go XR enter. And I'm going to choose my reload all references.
Now I see my keynotes come in. And we can zoom extents. Control S to save.
