Revit Structure Professional Fast-Track Program

Everything was well paced and through. Coming from a mechanical/plumbing background, Revit always felt intimidating. BIM 101 broke everything down into a clear, manageable workflow. By the end, I was building models and actually understanding how to apply Revit in real project environments. This course genuinely boosted my confidence with BIM.

This course was fantastic for learning the basics of REVIT. Working along side the videos is a great way to learn and understand the workflows of a professional project. I feel more equipped to handle the everyday tasks that I face in my profession. These courses have enhanced the value that I give to my employer and it's already starting to pay off.

It was very interesting and easy to follow, great purchase. Taking the BIM Intro to Revit course was a great experience. It gave me a solid understanding of Revit’s tools and how Building Information Modeling works in real-world projects. The lessons were well-structured, easy to follow, and built up my confidence with each step. By the end, I could create and modify models, manage views, and understand the workflow between design and documentation. It’s a course I’d definitely recommend to anyone starting out with Revit or wanting a strong foundation in BIM.

The course is easy to follow and instructors are very responsive. The lessons are clear and taken step-by-step. Beginners can easily follow. Overall, I liked the course and look forward to move to the next course.

I think this was a great introductory course. I had taken a similar course in the past, three hours a week for six weeks, and didn’t feel like I learned much. I really like that this one allows you to follow each video at your own pace, and I appreciate the skill tests and hands-on quizzes. I’d highly recommend it. I feel much more confident in my Revit skills now.

Been learning Revit from YouTube and articles online. This course made learning the basics much simpler. Quizzes and Hands-on exercises made memorization of the material easy, and the videos provided are pretty straight-forward.

VDCI courses have furthered my knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. So far I'm using a different CAD software for manufacturing.

I really liked how the training was structured and easy to follow, even for someone new to Revit. The training was very well-structured and easy to follow, with practical examples I could apply right away in my work. Revit files are very common in any project. Now I can navigate through them and gather important information about the architect’s design, as well as share ideas back with them to coordinate more efficiently.

The videos are really easy to understand and it gives you a step-by-step instruction from which you could really have a feel of the software. The training helped me in my career in terms of a more visual approach of the projects that we handle (since mostly for electrical engineering we deal with single line drawings), it makes me appreciate more and have a greater overall view of the project.

Revit is the future of my profession as a draftsman in an architecture firm. I was starting to learn the program through work, but was overwhelmed trying to navigate the program and understanding all of its capabilities. After completing 2 courses I was able to feel comfortable working in Revit as I had a better knowledge of how to maneuver through the program, as well as how to create families and how to make them parametric. I enjoyed the instructional videos and being able to learn on my own time but still having to meet deadlines to keep me on track and moving through the course.

Hands down a 5. I loved the flexibility the VDCI courses allowed me. While working full time, I was able to incorporate the video training into my daily work routine; so even though I completed smaller bits of training at a time, I was able to remain consistent with said training allowing me to never feel behind or having to consistently ‘back track’ to refresh my brain to where I last left off. VDCI’s training definitely helped my career by allowing me to incorporate what I learned into practical daily use on smaller projects way before our company’s deadline (end of this calendar year) to be fully using Revit in place of AutoCAD. Thanks again for a great learning experience.

This course was a fantastic investment! The content was relevant and well-organized, and the materials provided were incredibly helpful. The project-based based was especially enjoyed. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a professional course in Revit.

I enjoyed the range of buildings that we worked on in each course. It adds a different element to each course with building/viewing a different building every time. The course has helped me with my career in many ways. The main one is that we are just starting to look at using Revit models to help us with our concrete construction. Receiving this knowledge taught in this course is helping me jumpstart the talks of using these tools more in the future. Without this course I do not think I would be able to learn what I have learned on my own.

The course materials were well-structured, and the instructors made complex topics easy to understand. VDCI's training helped strengthen my understanding of CAD and BIM workflows, which has been directly applicable to my work in construction coordination.

I would give the courses a 5. They were well organized. The speed of the courses and the amount of information I learned were helpful. I liked being able to go at my own pace, as well as rewind and go back to certain lessons when I forgot certain tools, commands, and workflows. I also liked the student forum to understand what other students are taking the courses. When I started this year, I had lost my job in project coordination and knew I needed to get back to my degree/career, architecture. I knew I needed to relearn Revit, so I took the beginning and intermediate level courses from VDCI. I had an interview last week, and they were impressed that I had gone to that level of preparation for the position. I start my new job as an architectural design associate in July! I would say that VDCI definitely helped my career!

The online Revit Training I took with The VDC Institute was nothing far from excellent. It was easy to follow and very informative. I'm definitely coming back when I want to get more training on other Autodesk products. I enjoyed that it revolved around my time, and nothing was rushed. The files provided during the training were easy to use. The lecturer speaking in the video also spoke in an engaging way. VDCI helped me get my user license in Revit and become that much better in the workforce. I try to utilize the teaching techniques from the training videos with my colleagues.
