Sustainability, by definition, is the conservation of an ecological balance by avoiding the depletion of natural resources. When applied to architecture, this concept gives rise to sustainable architecture, which is the design of buildings that strive to minimize the negative environmental impact.

Meet our Alumni, Leandro Lazaretti, a graduate of the CAD/BIM Certificate Program. Here’s his story on why he chose VDCI and how he’s been able to utilize the skills he’s learned.

Formerly an interior designer and design consultant, Ria was looking for a way to get into the technical side of the industry. After researching different programs, she found VDCI’s CAD/BIM Program.

Being a single father and working in a very remote area, Ryan needed a training program that could be completed 100% online. VDCI’s CAD/BIM program gave him the flexibility and instructional support he needed.

John graduated from VDCI in 2011. Now, he is a licensed architect working in California without having an industry-related degree.
