Donahue Chase, a seasoned AutoCAD user, recognized this need and decided to equip himself with the expertise to stay ahead.

From January 10-12th, 2024, the VDC Institute (VDCI) proudly partnered with Autodesk to host an Autodesk Certified Instructors (ACI) training event at our San Diego location. This three-day event was a significant milestone in advancing the skills and expertise of Autodesk instructors, underscoring the importance of continuous professional development in the AEC industry.

John began his career in the construction industry performing basic labor tasks, such as cleaning up houses. Eager to advance in his field, he sought out a program that could provide the necessary skills and knowledge for career growth.

One of the most significant trends is the shift from traditional Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to Building Information Modeling (BIM). Sustainability, by definition, is the conservation of an ecological balance by avoiding the depletion of natural resources. When applied to architecture, this concept gives rise to sustainable architecture, which is the design of buildings that strive to minimize the negative environmental impact.
