In this video, we're going to adjust our analysis and see how the adjustments impact our table that we placed and the display orientation on our actual Civil 3D drawing. So, what we're going to go ahead and do is navigate back to the Prospector tab of the tool space.

We're going to go to our full development surface, and we're going to right-click and select Surface Properties. So, when we do that, I am currently in the Analysis tab. If you're not, you're going to go ahead and navigate to the Analysis tab, and what you're going to notice here is when I go ahead and select Slopes, Civil 3D is going to populate the slope ranges that I have that we have applied to our analysis and are being displayed in the drawing.

So, from here, if for some reason you don't have the correct number of ranges or your minimum and maximum slopes aren't correct, then you can make adjustments, and then Civil 3D will dynamically update them. So, what we're going to go ahead and do is we're actually going to change our ranges to 5, and then I'm going to go ahead and push that information on the ranges down into our Range Details. So, from here, what we're going to go ahead and do is we're going to change the slope parameters that we had before.

So, our original slope parameters were 0.0750 to 25. I'm going to go ahead and go with 10%. Then I'm going to go ahead and go from 20% to 10%, and I generally like to do this because you can't set your max slope with your minimum slope being too high.

So, in this case here, I could set 20 and 30 would be fine, but more often than not when I'm doing this, I always want to set the maximum slope and then come down to the minimum slope. So, I'm going to go ahead and set my maximum slope for this third range to 30, and then I'm going to set this to 20, and then I'm going to go ahead and set this to 50, and this to 30, and then I'm going to go ahead and set this last minimum range to 50. So, from here, I'm going to go ahead and hit Apply and hit OK, and so what you're going to see here now is that if I zoom in on this table, we now have five ranges going from 0.08 to 10,10 to 20,20 to 30,30 to 50, and 50 to 476.37, and our colors have now updated based on the ranges that we had selected.
