Welcome to the commercial section of this course. I'm so excited you're here. We're going to leverage everything we learned in the residential portion of this class so that we can dive right into the tools that are most commonly used for an interior design commercial project.

Our first step is to open up this file AutoCAD for interior design commercial start and you might notice there's a lot going on in this file already. We're kind of parachuting into a project that is underway. But this project, think of it like a kit of parts.

There are some portions that are already completed and some portions that we are going to work on together. This will allow us to avoid the busy work of creating an AutoCAD drawing but jump right into the heart of the tools that we most need for interior design. After opening this file our first step is to go to file save as so go to the top file drop down select save as and save it as a drawing.
