Virtual Design & Construction Institute attended and participated in the Education 2.0 Conference held in July 2023 in Las Vegas. The Education 2.0 Conference is held annually to discuss advancements in the global education sector and revolutionize how we learn and teach. Education leaders from all over the world gather to connect and share each other’s insights and solutions in the education industry. With a focus on leveraging technology for transformative learning experiences, this year’s conference aimed to inspire, educate, and encourage collaboration among participants. The Education 2.0 Conference provided a platform for educators and administrators from various educational backgrounds to come together and share knowledge, experiences, and innovative ideas. Attending this conference as a Compliance Manager and Academic Coordinator at the Virtual Design and Construction Institute offered me the opportunity to explore broader perspectives beyond our institution. This report aims to summarize the key highlights, findings, and recommendations derived from the Education 2.0 Conference, fostering a deeper understanding of the evolving landscape of education and its implications for our vocational institution and beyond.

In an ever-evolving job market, it is crucial to have programs in place that empower individuals to succeed in their careers. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act(WIOA) is a landmark legislation in the United States that aims to improve employment and training services for job seekers, workers, and businesses.

There are many postsecondary education institutions to choose from when seeking to advance your career education. Some are your standard four-year degree universities and colleges, while others are trade or vocational schools.

A new source of financial aid is available for training programs offered at VDCI. A scholarship fund was created to help those looking to advance their career in the design and construction industry and can be applied toward any program offered at VDCI.
