Now that we have the schedule all sorted the way that we want, we're going to take a look at refining it to the next level here. And that means sorting and organizing some of these headers here. And what's cool is we can actually group them based on some of their common categories.
So in one of these cases here, where you look at column C, D, and E, those three all represent the size of the door. So what I could do is if I were to hover over column C here and press and drag across, I've actually selected C, D, and E in this first row. And I can go ahead and I can say group headers, which will allow me to then add in a title above all of those headers here.
And in this case, what I'll do is I'll add door size. I can do the same thing here with my door material and finish and my frame material and finish as well. And I can group these two together, F and G, using the same press and drag process.
Group the headers. And now here I can say door because the door material and finish are within that group there. And I can do the same thing with the frame.
And I can group those two together. And I can call this one frame to group those. Now that I've got it all set up, I can easily go back in and adjust the titles here.
And this doesn't change the name of the parameter, but it just changes the way it looks in my schedule. So I do have the flexibility to go in and change all of these. And so if you were a real stickler and wanted to have all of these in capital letters, you could definitely do that.
And you can go in and you can add all of that information back the way you want, and it will not have an impact on your parameters within the schedule. The other thing we can do is you may have noticed that these are all kind of getting cut off a little bit, is as I move my mouse over, you see how it hits and it creates that kind of grab symbol there where I can stretch it across? Well, I could do that to make the J column a little bit wider. And now I've got this column in the right size.
And I can see all the information a little bit more clearly. And we're at the point now where we can start going in and adding the information to our schedule, or even adjusting the information that's already there.
