The next thing that we can do is add some interior plants. We added some additional plants.
They really bring things to life. We already added some of them and we can look to see if we want to add any more or not. You know some of this right here like this plant in this view maybe needs to be rotated a bit.
It's kind of kind of right in the view with this large leaf. You know I would honestly like recommend like you know removing it potentially if it's really in the way just that way we're it's less distracting something like that. Go back to this view you like this plant here maybe this plant wants to be maybe a little bit larger.
We can click the plant here we can actually adjust the scale by clicking the scale tool right here and then making this be a little bit bigger. So something like that just to kind of give it some more oomph to it. I do I do see that this tree is actually the sun is actually lower on this view so we're just casting a shadow from the mullion and not actually the tree.
So I could actually add a duplicate of this tree CTRL C CTRL V instance and then I can actually like move this tree over here. So that way maybe it's casting some shadow into this view and I can see that that's kind of interesting. I kind of like seeing some depth of landscape on the outside makes it feel like this is not just you know open sky that there is some trees and some plants.
All right so now that we added some plants let's go ahead and add some people. Let's highlight the people layer 3D assets people right click set active container. Placing people on the couch in the kitchen kids playing on the ground helps establish scale and makes the render feel more lively.
We want to choose characters that match the target audience of the rendering you know whether it's casual professional family life really depends on the project. So let's go ahead and add some people. So under library and characters we have a series of people.
We have animated humans where they're actually being animated. The quality of these people are okay but not the best. They're good they're okay for animations.
Posed humans are more cut out people or not cut out they're three-dimensional static images that have higher quality to them. So let's go look at some more casual type people. We want to find someone that maybe sitting on the couch things like this.
You will see that these images are on the smaller side so you may want to try a few different options. I'm envisioning someone sitting on this couch right here so maybe I'll put someone right here rotate around maybe I'll put her just kind of right over there just so kind of gives her some scale on this on the couch and the space and you know I can always rotate her too by clicking the rotate key and you just like kind of tilting her back a little bit moving her around just that way she feels more kind of natural inside here something like that.
Go back to my view all right so that now that we have a kind of a person let's think about like what else I want to do maybe I want to add some kids playing on the ground. I can go down over to children I can see that there is you know kid on the girl sitting down that's like a person perfect person to be put on this chair right here sitting next to mom. You know we really try and tell the story of what we are doing so I set it down and I'm going to look and zoom see if she's like floating in the air a little bit so I do want to bring her down I do want to rotate her a bit maybe I want her to be you know lean against the back cushion.
Kind of can want to kind of zoom in and kind of see where she's at in the space. She's got her shoes on the chair that's obviously a no-no but in this case we'll let her fly something like that. You know maybe this lady she's not quite looking at her daughter maybe she wants to be like this so that way she's you're looking at her daughter a bit. I got because a nice model pose I guess.
Um let's think about what else okay maybe we want like a kid playing on the ground with her with his grandson or we want to see you know let's see what else we can find. So all these ones right here are additional views that we can actually download so there's lots of options you can explore you can do all kinds of things. Let's keep looking here right here let's do this Sean and Sam I'm gonna go sign in so that way I can download this looks like this person is tying the kid's shoe. Let's put this person kind of right here in the hallway.
Let's give it some we don't want to put people too close to the camera as it can kind of affect the way that you're viewing. I think something like that kind of has a good kind of place for that person. And then maybe there is uh this looks like maybe that's grandpa helping tying the kid. Maybe we got maybe we need dad we find dad to kind of put him put him over here in this space.
Let's go look for a casual again and let's look for um a gentleman kind of standing maybe doing something. This guy's on the phone hanging out in the kitchen looking at it just like that. Now we go back to our view and we got you know we got some people kind of in the background it really brings this scale to life.
Thing that we can note is how do these people look like in each of these views right. So I see here like I think this person is now she's a little bit shifted on this so let's kind of move her more centralized. And then you know this person you know now that I see her tilted this way maybe she wants to be more like this. We kind of can go back and forth between the two.
You know maybe dad doesn't necessarily want to be facing the camera maybe he wants to be tilted more this way so it's less distracting. You know things like that you kind of go back and forth and adjusting I'm just trying to refine some of these people make sure that they're kind of in the right locations that kind of fits nicely.
You got the kitchen you know if there's certain elements that you don't really aren't really a fan of in the kitchen like this glow on this thing I can move this I can actually maybe hide these gentlemen in this view here we think it's that way we're not being distracted by people in the corner. So yeah that's basically adding in people.
You can have a whole lot of freedom you can you can add you know as many people as you want but keep in mind that you want to make sure that you strike this fine balance of realistic and also not overdoing it where you're distracting from your sentence. People are there to complement the space to maybe bring it give it to them some scale and some life without overdoing it.
We can scrub through the clips one more time to see kind of where we're at and overall I think these three shots look really nice. All right in the next video we're going to be continuing adding on some more additional assets see you in the next video.
