From January 10-12th, 2024, the VDC Institute (VDCI) proudly partnered with Autodesk to host an Autodesk Certified Instructors (ACI) training event at our San Diego location. This three-day event was a significant milestone in advancing the skills and expertise of Autodesk instructors, underscoring the importance of continuous professional development in the AEC industry.

Event Highlights

The training event was led by renowned experts Dan Banach and Richard Hutchinson. For three days, participants engaged in comprehensive sessions that focused on best practices for teaching Autodesk software, including widely used Revit and AutoCAD.

Educators from various states and companies came together at VDCI to either earn their standard ACI badge for the first time or to progress towards the eminent Platinum ACI badge. The event featured interactive presentations, hands-on learning experiences, and in-depth feedback sessions. By the end of the event, participants were allowed to prepare and teach their practice class, applying what they learned and receiving invaluable feedback from their peers and expert instructors.
