In this course, you'll learn to create pages, edit and manage content, and understand what the experience looks like from the client's side of WordPress. You'll also explore how to shape a site's appearance and behavior using the built-in tools, and recognize when reaching for code makes sense for deeper customization. The platform makes it possible to create and maintain a website without any background in web design or coding, while still giving developers who know HTML, CSS, and PHP room to customize far more deeply. Whether you're launching something new or taking over an existing site, this course walks you through the process one step at a time.

WordPress powers more than 40 percent of all websites, which makes it essential knowledge for anyone who designs or builds them. Its flexible functionality and customizable themes often make it the ideal choice for client work, where content needs to stay easy to update without touching code. Clients can manage their own text, images, and pages, while designers and developers keep control over layout, style, and features.

### How long do I have access to the course materials?

This course is available for 30 days. You can choose when to start your access period. Once you activate, you will have 30 days to complete it (access the course materials, quizzes, projects and videos). You may request one extension of seven (7) days. Other extension requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Videos are not downloadable.

### What is the cancellation and refund policy for this single course?

For this course, you are entitled to a 90% refund (your payment less the nonrefundable 10% registration fee) within 30 days of purchase if you have not accessed the course materials.
