## Overview

In this class, you'll learn to build websites with HTML and CSS, the two languages behind every webpage. You'll get hands-on experience coding sites from the ground up, all the way through publishing them online. Along the way, you'll pick up best practices for structuring and tagging your content with HTML, then styling it with CSS.

With HTML, you'll create pages filled with text, images, and more. With CSS, you'll style that content, design centered layouts, add background images, format navigation, and make your pages responsive so they adapt to any screen size through media queries. When it's time to go live, you'll upload your files using FTP. All the content, both text and images, comes prepared for you, so your attention stays on the coding itself.
