Students will learn to link Revit building models with 3D site context, unify them with materials, landscaping, and lighting, and produce polished exterior renderings suited for client presentations, city approvals, and marketing. The course covers everything from Revit model preparation and site integration to environmental settings, entourage, decals, and interior lighting, culminating in a set of high quality still renderings across multiple lighting conditions including daylight, sunset, and rain. The second half of the course shifts into animation, where students develop a structured, cinematic sequence using camera movement strategies, dynamic environmental settings, and moving assets including people paths and vehicular traffic. Students will storyboard their animation, build and refine individual clips, and combine them into a final one minute video using post production tools. Derek has specialized in the realm of architectural design and digital design. ### Rebecca Lockwood — Instructor Rebecca Lockwood earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Michael Graves College at Kean University in New Jersey. She began her career working in residential interiors, where she developed a love for creating homes that reflect the people who live in them. That same dedication naturally grew into a desire to nurture learning and inspire future designers to tell their own stories through design. Today, Rebecca teaches an array of Interior Design courses at a local college in North Carolina and also works with high school students around the world as a remote art and design instructor.
