It is built for designers who are already comfortable with frames, components, and basic prototyping and who now need prototypes that behave like real software. You work with sections, variables, variable modes, and conditionals to add genuine interactivity, so a prototype can hold state, respond to input, and branch based on what the user does rather than simply cycling through fixed screens. The same variable system underpins scalable design systems, and the second half of the course puts it to that use. You build variable collections with primitive and semantic layers, then use modes to deliver light and dark themes from one source of truth.
