# AutoCAD Construction Documents I Course Online Canonical URL: ## Overview This course helps you build essential AutoCAD skills by guiding you through the creation of construction documents for a moderately complex one-story residence. You’ll draft professional titleblock drawings from scratch and develop floor plans, multi-scale enlarged plans, roof plans, and building elevations. Along the way, the course introduces practical CAD workflows, covering 2D drawing commands, dimensioning, layering, layout environments, and plotting so your drawings are clear, accurate, and presentation-ready. Work focuses on producing real deliverables used in professional offices, including creating titleblocks and drawing labels, drafting detailed residential plans with notes, and integrating referenced files into a coordinated document set. You’ll practice solid layer and file management, work confidently between model and layout environments, and present drawings at multiple scales. The course also emphasizes organizing sheet sets according to National CAD Standards and applying intermediate-level skills for setting up layouts and plotting complete construction documents. ## What you'll learn - Create titleblock and titleblock/drawing label components for a professional office to facilitate the development of deliverable sheet files. - Draft floor plans, enlarged plans, roof plans and building elevations of a moderately complex residential project with detailed notes. - Integrate referenced files to create construction documents.
